Muppets

A couple of months ago Slate ran this piece on the "Muppet chaos theory." The basic idea of this particular brand of chaos theory is that people--like muppets--fall into one of two categories, there are order muppets (Bert, Sam the Eagle, and Kermit the Frog), and there are chaos muppets (Miss Piggy, Grover, Cookie Monster etc.).  

I. Love. This.

Not only does it make me feel less alone--I mean, most muppets are chaos muppets when you think about it--but it also gives my chaotic little brain an organizational method I'll actually use! (who cares if it's for the people around me, instead of the stacks of paper on my desk.) Now, everywhere I look I see muppets. Dr. P? Order Muppet. My colleagues? Mostly order muppets. Bossman? Chaos. My Sisters? All chaos with the sole exception of Four, who is order muppet to the core.
