While exploring San Diego, Five, Brother Z and I happened upon the most delightful artisan village. Paved with rainbow bricks, the Spanish Art Center plays host to the San Diego carving, metal work and sculpting guilds, as well as the gem and mineral society and about 50 shops filled with whimsical handcrafted goods. It was beyond dreamy---and I have pictures to prove it!
